Natalia Linos
Hello everyone!
I am a social epidemiologist, Executive Director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard, and current Town Meeting Member. I live in Brookline Village with my husband, Paul, and our three young children: Amalia (3rd grader at Pierce) and twins Leonidas and Alexandra (entering KG at Pierce this fall).
I was recently elected Chair of our town’s Advisory Council on Public Health and hope to earn your vote because I believe an equitable COVID-19 recovery, meeting the needs of all residents while responding to the climate emergency and advancing racial justice, is our top priority.
In 2020 I ran to represent our district, hoping to bring my skills as an epidemiologist to Congress for an equitable COVID-19 response and recovery. Since then, I have become more involved in local and State-level politics, and beyond COVID-19 have focused on the climate emergency, serving on the Board of the Environmental League of Massachusetts, as a member of Brookline’s Mothers Out Front, and also as the ‘climate’ representative on the Town’s Community Partnership Committee for the U.S. Open.
I grew up in Greece and worked at the United Nations for over a decade and appreciate how Brookline is home to so many immigrants and a vibrant international community. I speak Greek fluently, and have basic conversational skills in Arabic, Spanish and French.
I was endorsed by Brookline for Everyone and Brookline Equity Coalition.
